Taking a cursory look, because we don't want to break existing code that already uses prototype.js or jQuery, so the jQuery library is available thru the "x$" shortcut instead of "$" to avoid any conflicts. I'll need to take a look at this in some closer detail, however.
Thanks,

t you posted. That just figures out the url of the banner. There still needs to be code to show the url. This MIGHT work...
x$("xg_sitename").after(img.src);

Hi Jay!
Eeek! That's because this was written with dojo and we now support jQuery. Thanks for flagging this - I'll make a note to make the change and update the tutorial.
Thanks, Ernie
Ning stopped giving us the ability to access the PHP code last October. Now we have to use jQuery, JavaScript, CSS and the Language editor to mod pages.
errick O. said:If you're building this page with our "Pages" feature (this sounds like what you're doing), you have the ability to add JavaScript directly on that Page. To use jQuery in the Page, you will need to include a copy of the jQuery library since the jQuery library that comes with your network won't be ready until after the contents of the Page has loaded. I'd suggest using a hosted copy of jQuery like http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.4.2.min.js
The best place for custom CSS is the Advanced Appearance textbox. You can get to this by going to Manage/Appearance.

ne way to add a div that spans all three columns, under the nav bar, on the Main page. Add this jQuery code to your analytics textbox: <script type="text/javascript">
x$(document).ready(function() {
// Add a div under Nav Bar on Main page
if (x$("div.xg_widget_main_index_index").length > 0) x$("div#xg_body").prepend('YOUR_HTML
'); });
</script>
Substitute for YOUR_HTML and Style the div wrapping it any way you want. Don't use any single quotes ( ' ) in the HTML unless you put a backslash ( \ ) before it.

I'm decent with jQuery but not so good with CSS! :)
But if I had to make a guess, I'd try something like border:0px and/or padding:0px and/or margin:0px for the img selector.
