Hi Susan - that's a nice idea. I suppose I can create a branded page with a similar domain name after I get my domain mapped to filmixer.com. Maybe I can create new domain and call it aboutfilmixer.com and have it linked from the sign on page.

I'm still hoping to find a way of creating doing it using ning's code.

In the mean time, I'll try your approach.

Hey there Phil, happy new year to you. :)

I' m trying to add a page to BAP, followed the instructions above but no luck. Created the new folder, saved the page file but no tab is appearing.

Also -the light grey color background on both sides of the network are now white. They are listed as grey in the "appearances" screen but only appear as white.

If you could shed any light that would be great. :)

When I got to http://www.ning.com/?view=apps&appUrl=hopecybrary.ning.com&... The page replies "We're sorry, but this page doesn't exist," but I already have my network page in "hopecybrary.ning.com" how come i cant access the page where i can edit my source codes? Please help.

remove the .ning.com at the end and things should be golden. It should be:

Hi Alva or phil,

I just readed your comment about the extra page which i have created one but haven't put it to uses the way i want it yet and i see you have also created a extra page but put it the in Forum and made it link together some how. Sorry for asking but i was trying to figure out how i can archive stuff and the only function i see that does that is the blogs if i linked it i was wondering if i could put an extra page in the blog to gain access to the archive function so i can use it to store old info so people can go back and check out what they miss late month and etc...
Also i think i know but just wondering how you when about adding a extra page in your forum plus wondering how you made the extra pages you add go to the end of your tabs... Thx for your support

Hi The Truth,

I use what I call the "band aid" approach because I only know a little about html code; that's why I link to a Forum page as it at least allows me to upload text and embedded images and/or video. I started by going to the Forum and clicking on "Add/Manage Categories". That allows you to move Topics around and control whether others can reply or start new discussions. I use this approach to archive my stories (I'm doing this for another site I'm developing but haven't launched yet that has several articles under several different topics) and it works for now.

I don't know the answer to your other questions, but I'm sure someone here will; everyone is very helpful!

Yes this help me alot cause i never knew that i can add Categories I mean i seen it but never looked in to it.. Thanks for the info.

I do have one more question for now though. I still have not be able to add anymore pages for some reason. I have been trying to add it the forum like you did to use your "band aid" but don't see the other page or tab coming up. Not sure what i'm doing wrong I did it just like the first page i add but this time i when in to the instances/ forum and created a directory then created a file using all the same info but it didn't show up.. some one help me..

Phi is out of town but i was wondering if you could walk through it with me creating a new page with a tab. I have created one new page but cant seem to create any more.
