adding a google map api to Ning

Hello everyone,

I am very, very new to Ning and am trying to determine quickly if it's possible to add a google map api to Ning. I want the map to show locations of all members of my site and link them back to the individuals profiles. Has anyone done this?

It's certainly possible, but it would be a custom coding effort.

Yes, but I took down the example. Been working on other stuff.
Lots of things can be put into an iframe.

I've been searching for a way to show members of a Ning network on a Google Map -- I assumed this would be pretty straightforward, but haven't been able to dig up much info on the forum (especially as the link to the recent discussion that helped you out seems to have died). Were you able to pull this off? Any advice?
