I use a date picker for searching through workshop entries on my site. It was working fine, then without any notice or an upgrade or warning it stopped working today (can't be loaded actually. I am assuming that when ning had the outage today (which may have been at an appropriate time in the US but in Australia it was around midday on Monday - NOT good timing however that is another story but if you are international please think of us downunder) that the version of dojo has changed or something. Anyway I know nothing changed at my end.
Surely if you guys are changing stuff or upgrading something we should get some warning. I now have the search function for my site compromised and searching for workshops is the main thing people do!!! I have the source code for my site but obviously it is still related to some infrastructure that has changed.
We didn't make any changes to dojo as part of this outage, so I don't think the maintenance window is the cause of the problem (though clearly the timing is suggestive). Prior to the cannot load error there is another error: "FATAL: bad srcObj for srcFunc: onclick" so I'm wondering if something further upstream is causing problems. Can you try creating a simple test page / widget with a template that only contains the html for the datepicker and the call to load it and see if that works correctly? If that doesn't work, please drop us a note via the help center and we'll investigate further.
As far as the maintenance window goes, unfortunately we need to perform work when the platform is the least busy overall, and currently this happens on saturday and sunday nights pacific time.
I have not got a response from the help desk so I thought I would paste some screen shots here. Perhaps it is something simple? and someone on the forum can help!
