Can I remove a member without banning them?

For our purposes, I need to have the ability to simply remove a member from groups and/or the entire network without banning them. Is this at all possible?

I really wish a "delete" button was installed. I've wanted to not ban someone but had no option.

It would be helpful. Especially in instances where someone signs up with different email addresses and ends up with multiple accounts.

I like cookies too... My issue is that we have over a thousand folks and they will only be with us for a time then their time is up and they must be reinvited to return. The ban list will become annoyingly long.

then see the member when he have joined and find his personal record after that you can remove that object.

the way how you can find that member data... in to the search box put the date when member have joined and another box put the same date just mkae the time differance such as fisrt box you can put 00:00 and another box you can put 23:00

hit the search box then you will find many object and there is one object which will the detials of the member which you have ban... and delete that object...

They have a great platform here.. but they need to install delete buttons so that we cand delete a member and also our photos!!

Steve I feel the same way. If enough people email Ning and have this issue then they probably will do something. Also, the ability to be able to delete a photo and not just change it. Some members want to have no image and are not web savy enough to be able to upload an avatar.

The only work-around I've developed is to soften the language on banning. I've hit the language editor and change everything to say "You've been removed from the network" rather than the harsh banning. At least that takes the edge off, but I still would like the delete function. Especially for groups.
