hey mike,

what I am looking to do is be able to add text boxes to pages such as "my page", "forum". I need this so I can post messages to my members as well as place adds there. I have alot of local competition for ads and I need more space!!!

I think this can be done by editing the sourcecode. I have read such a post somewhere else. It should require PHP knowledge.

Yes, but I believe the Text Box tab has disappeared. When I click on "Features" it isn't showing up on the right column where it usually appears.

Also, my Google Ads aren't showing up either. I believe this is a little techno-difficultly on the programming end. If I can find a way to send an email to the programmer, I will complain.

If anyone is trying to add a text box to a page so that they can include custom HTML and dynamic programming, it can be done by inserting a DIV using jQuery in the Analytics box. Then use jQuery,getJSON to get data from any server. Another way is to insert an iFrame tag with jQuery and fill it with any external web page or widget. As for adding ads, I'm not sure but I assume Ning will filter out Google AdSense code if you don't pay for the Premium Ad service.
