I currently have an animated gif logo on my site, but it is disrupting my member's profile page themes. On some pages it shows up over to the right too far and looks distorted. It also takes away from member's being able to fully customize their page.
I'd really like to be able to disable the custom logo on just member profile pages. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks in advance for any help!
What you can try is making your logo graphic part of the main page header for your chosen theme and then adding the CSS (as opposed to having two separate graphic files.
in order to hide the site name and description text.
This will not modify any of the member's page themes. Although they will have empty banners with no text on them on their pages. Like a picture of a road but with no title on it.
yeah thats my problem. There is no real work around for using a swf header. If you do it seems like your stuck with not allowing your members to change their themes because of the inability to keep the swf off of their mypages.
Where there is a will there is a way. I have achieved alot of different things on test Ning networks.
This is why I created The Vip Club. Is is a subscription site for Network creators who are serious about their Ning network.
I answer ALOT of questions for other network creators and if any one did some research on myself and my company skins4ning.com, they would find out that I know what I am talking about......
If anyone would like to take there Ning network by the horns, than take that first baby step and pay the small $5 per month fee.
Please start a discussion on The Vip Club. I will address it over the weekend and we can get something working on your network, that you can be happy with.
