Ning Apps to launch in early September

We are excited to announce that Ning Apps will debut in early September!
When you create a Ning Network around a specific interest or passion, you need a diverse feature set that allows you to be creative and customize the experience for your members. For example, if you run a Ning Network around a non-profit organization or a cause you care about, you can take a poll with a new Ning App that allows you to check the pulse of your members to better understand what moves them. Then you can use a direct donation Ning App to drive contributions to your cause within your Ning Network.
By offering more than 90 different applications, Ning Apps provide a unique opportunity for Network Creators to further customize the social experience on their Ning Network based on their goals. This flexibility will allow Ning Network Creators to spark more relevant engagement, enhance collaboration, and conduct e-commerce.
We want to thank the Network Creators who are participating in our private beta and the application developers who partnered with us to create such a diverse set of features.
We look forward to launching Ning Apps next month!

Looking forward to seeing this when it launches. Have looked at the list on the mashable.com website but this list looks shorter than the 90+you mention here. Is there a full list available to see what will apps will be available?
As my network is primerily based around regular events I am keen to find out whether there will be an app which can be used to replace the events page, something which does everything the current events page does but which allows recurring events to be added. Many of the events I want to include on my network run weekly and therefore until events can be listed to repeat the site simply isn't viable as there would be too much work involved in keeping this one page up-to-date and I can't launch the site without this feature. I know this has been requested for some time by various people but never fully addressed, I really hope the ning apps will offer a solution as this feature would help great. If not what about the ability to bulk upload .csv of events as this would at least make the job of maintaining the events page more managable.
