No but in there defense, the data is not associated with a network per-say. It's linked to the overall users "database", which I imagine they protect heavily.
I did, though, lose everyone's profile questions when I manually upgraded my network. I think it was an oversight on my part in one of the (confusing) config XML files. Unfortunately, the only recourse I found was to ask everyone to fill the questions out again which is less than ideal. I didn't go to the Ning techies though...perhaps they could have retrieved the data.
I wish there was more documentation about the core files involved with the network...
