The OS support in ning is good and I hope it improves.
About your tip regarding overlap between developer.ning.com and devsocial.ning.com i have got a full explanation there in the reply to your comment at http://mytechrantings.blogspot.com/2007/11/ning-open-social-goes-live-i-got-mail.html

In short it is that you target Ning and Open Social application with developer.ning.com while i plan to bring together a community interested in OS in general. Components, architecture, and everything.

For that the feeds from developer.ning.com will be very helpful and I'll definitely add them to the network homepage.

And at last but not the least I invite you and all the members of the developer.ning.com network to also join devsocial.ning.com.

Hi Diego, I just created indiva.ning.com, social network meant exclusively for indian women. Ning rocks!! It's so easy "assembling" all the pieces together :-)

Btw, I mistakenly opted for getting access to the code, without realizing that I won't be able to free-ride on all bug fixes and feature updates from here on. I am not an advance developer who can manage this on my own. How do I revert back my choice? I don't want the code; I would rather get updates from ning directly... Please help!!

Btw, when I add gadgets/widgets, I would expect the Activity feed to propogate those messages to other memebers in my social network - this would create a huge viral and discoverability. Is this feature coming soon? Currently, the feed only propogates news about content/comment/profile addition etc.

Can powerpoint programs be uploaded

I recently signed up for "Use your own domain" service, and configured www.okraa.com, the domain I purchased from Yahoo, to reflect indiva.ning.com as destination under the CNAME record. It's been 5 days since, but I don't yet see the INDIVA.NING social network showing up on okraa.com URL. okraa.com instead shows Yahoo small business "under construction" page.

Please help me out.

We are now hosting Gizter on our own dedicated servers running a PHPFox social platform. Hi Diego, I have created an Indian travel social network called Findiya.ning.com. Using premium services, I am able to host it on http://www.findiya.com, which I had purchased through Yahoo.com. However, while http://www.findiya.com shows the ning hosted social network, http://findiya.com doesn't. How can I resolve this, please?

Is it / will it be possible to access Google docs via Ning social networks using the new opensocial API. We are an academic institution planning to use Ning for our Freshman writing program and we'd like to incorporate Google docs.
