HELP WITH CUSTOM LOGO

I'm not well versed on proper names for things, so bare with me.
I'm trying to figure out how to add a flash graphic/gif file to a custom logo. When I add the graphic, the flash doesn't transfer.
How can I add a flash graphic of GIF file that 'moves' in a custom header/logo?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi xiola23 - hmmm. Rather than a flash .gif file, do you mean an animated .gif file? (Flash is plug-in based by Macromedia.) If so, we do have a tutorial which will let you put in an animated gif file in your h... that may work for you. -Ernie

Now that I have it all set up and looking awesome, I realized that since I created the gif as a logo instead of a regular header, it carries over to each members profile page. Some of the themes push the logo over and disrupts the overall look.
Is there a way to add a gif file (that is what my graphic is currently) as just a header and not an actual custom logo?
