Animated GIF's

Hello! I added an animated GIF as our logo, yet it doesn't work. Does NING allow animated images? If so, what do I have to do to make it work?

I know this is an old post, but I'm hoping you can answer this. Can this work for re-animating gif images on the sides of the page? I uploaded an image for the sides and tiled the image assuming it would be animated (it worked on Youtube anyway). The image will animate anywhere but Ning. So will this code work here?

How do you use animated gifs in other areas of your network...meaning for member logos and/ads. I can only get the first frame of my animated gif to show up...any ideas?
