Ning Developer Docs

I have a lot of photos on my ning network and I want todownload them locally to work with and manipulate. To download one at a time will take a long time. Is there a faster way to do a bulk download.

Thanks

Mike,

Would it be possible to access the photos via SFTP per these instructions: http://developer.ning.com/notes/Accessing_Source_Code_with_SFTP

I tried logging in but it didn't work...do I need to be enabled to access via SFTP?

Thanks
Hi Corey,

You can't access the images that have been uploaded to your network via sftp; sftp gives you access to the file system for your network (the PHP code for the network itself), but the uploaded images live in the Ning content store.

Thanks,
Phil
Hi Phil

As NC, how do I get access to downloading the content of my network?. As per NING's ToS, "that" is my property hence I should be able to access it and download it to *my* PC -for backup purposes mainly!. How do I do that?

Honestly, the best thing NING could do it would be to include a procedure in the "Manage Tab" so NCs could download their content in a one-click operation. I understand of course that'd have to be somehow limited -maybe one backup per week or something- so as not to saturate bandwidth and server processor time... but still, that'd be a REALLY helpful add-in.
I can't believe this is still not available. Is there a way to download all the photos in a network?
