Hi Nick - the note is retired because while our PHP and ATOM APIs are stable, the content inside that article is not an API per say; we can no longer guarantee the stability of this content for future releases.

It should be noted that the Javascript on Ning note has now been un-retired, but the content that was directly related to the unstable Javascript objects have been removed.

As my buddy posted here (http://developer.ning.com/forum/topic/show?id=1185512%3ATopic%3A60292) is there an alternative to ning.CurrentProfile available from the Atom/Rest api?

I don't recall seeing one.

I probably responded last night after hours, any idea if there's an ATOM/Rest alternative to ning.CurrentProfile that doesn't rely on custom PHP?
