I have seen this asked several times in the forums, but it looks like it is being avoided.

Why create an API for wordpress when Joomla is so much more popular?

Could you or are you planning on releasing an API that works for Joomla like the one you released for Wordpress?

A joomla / ning combination would be very powerful.

It would provide an opportunity for ning creators to leverage the joomla CMS and over 3000 addons.

We really need ning's support to move this forward.

I was curious why this discussion is being overlooked?

It will not bother me if Ning does not want to create or help create an API like the wordpress API.

I really would like to hear your input on this, thats all.
