Accessing our database

I've dabbled in PHP and would like to try and build a simple widget for my site. How do we access our database? Is the host/user/password available to us?

Debbie,

Ning does not use the traditional RDMS like MySQL / PostgreSQL and instead uses what looks like some form of a ORD. My suggestion would be to take a look at the following:

Optionally I believe you can connect directly (from php) to an outside database but only for your own widgets.
