Ning Developer Docs

Hello.

In the root directory of the contents of my ning account, we have the [widgets/page/templates/page] folder. There we have two files called [listEmpty.php] and [list.php]. What should we do to access those files directly in the browser?

For example if I have the YYY account at ning:

http://YYY.ning.com

Then I will, rationally, have to access the files at:

http://YYY.ning.com/widgets/page/templates/page/list.php
and
http://YYY.ning.com/widgets/page/templates/page/listEmpty.php

But since nothing is rational in NING, I get "Page doesn't exist" error. Can anybody shed some light on this problem please?

Thanks in advance

Hi David!

If you want to directly access a PHP source file, try placing it in the root directory of the source code (the same folder that contains the widgets directory). For example:

http://YYY.ning.com/listEmpty.php
http://YYY.ning.com/list.php
