We've just merged the Ning Developer Network to the most recent version of the code. The change that you'll probably notice first is the updated forum, but I recommend you take a peek at the menu. We've added a new tutorials feature. It's pretty empty at the moment but we'll be moving the rest of the tutorials over in the coming days. It will not only make it much easier to find the tutorial that you need, but it will also give you an opportunity to rate them!
Please let us know what you think of the changes by replying to this topic.
I meant 'icons' meaning, the images being used to graphically describe the individual 'tutorial' items. These are located to the left of the tutorial descriptions. An example of this is on the Ning Developer Network (under the tutorials tab).
I'm glad to hear you're so excited. It's not ready for other eyes yet, but I'll be posting the code to the social network within the next few days. Please stay tuned.
Hi Mike,
So we all are waiting for the tutorials which include the code for above discussed one.
We are so anxious to see the tutorials. So please give us the tutorials as fast as you can. I have access to source code.
Waiting for your suggestion and the valuable tutorials,
The tutorials module is a bit large to write up as a tutorial, but we will be providing the source code. It will be ready in much less than a month. When it's ready I'll reply to this thread.
Will you explain what you meant by providing us the source code? I think you meant the source code for these feature and will tell us that in which file shall we make changes. Am I right?
If not please pardon me.
Sorry for the confusion. Please let me clarify. In the coming days I'll post a zip file of the source code that we used for the Tutorials module itself. You will be able to install, inspect, and reverse engineer this feature to your hearts content.
Later on we'll be posting tutorials instructing you how to add both ratings and filter drop downs to your forum. These will take some time to write up so I'm afraid I can't provide a firm date for them yet.
Hi Mike,
Sorry for the late reply and thanks for your reply. You told you couldn't say an exact time period. O.K.
But you can give me an approximate time period.
Anyway, where and when will you provide us the zip file?
