Ning Developer Docs

Hi-
A few months ago I had no problems adding pages to my networks. Now it seems like i'm unable to access my code via the web browser, which is a bummer.

I'm using the DAV method of getting to my code, but I'm either unable to open the xml file (for one network) or there isn't one (in another network).

The instructions say the first step is: 1. Find the file located at: 'instances/page/widget-configuration.xml'

but i don't think that is accurate.

also, this link with my subdomains: http://examplenetwork.ning.com/page/instance/edit
doesn't seem to work. It just puts me in a loop of signing in and doesn't lead anywhere.

Although I don't know XML, this was easy a few months ago, and now it is not so easy. please help.

Hi thejer - apparently we've had reports of some networks not being able to have access to their page editor. http://examplenetwork.ning.com/page/instance/edit - if anyone out there is still having this problem, file an bug in the Help Center and a developer will try setting it up manually. (Note that you'll have to be logged in as the network creator to get this working as well.)

Thanks! -Ernie
Hi Ernie-
Thanks.

1. do i need to file a bug, or did you do that?

2. is it impossible to access the code and create pages the way i did it a few months ago, via a web browser?

3. any guidance on creating the xml files using the DAV method of creating or editing "pages"?

thanks.
