No Pages Folder in Instances Directory

I am trying to add the pages feature to my network, but as I follow through the steps outlined at

my instances directory doesn't have a "pages" folder.

Any suggestions?

hi michele,
if you follow your link, you will find a notice about a known issue. it may be that you named your folder "pages". you may want to change it to "page" and see if that works.
also, there is step in the instructions for making the pages folder in the instances directory. you may have missed this step. you wont find the folder until you make it.

This used to be considerably easier when you could access code via a web browser.

There is no "page" folder in "instances". Eventhough i create one, where would i make the "widget" doc?

and I don't see any instructions for "for making the pages folder in the instances directory."
the first step is:
"1. Find the file located at: 'instances/page/widget-configuration.xml'"
