Can I put rss in a text box?

Can I put rss in a text box?

I tried but it didnt work.

And if I can, when I change the back ground color of the box would that be seen behind the rss?

Try using a 3rd-party RSS Reader widget (say, 'spring widgets') and pasting the HTML into the text box.
