Seeking Ning Developer preferably in Australia but not essential
Hi all
I am the administrator of two networks that relate to a micro-group. We are co-owners in a small, idyllic island off the coast of South Australia. One group relates to all of the island owners, the second is a sub-set that are owners in a farmhouse on the island and so some of the information is relevant only to that group.
While I'm sure if I had more time I could make a better go of getting it working better, I think the eyes and skills of a seasoned developer would get us up and running much more quickly. But I think you'll now see that my skills are average as I'm guessing the embedded pic is all wrong and I can't remove the link to the same image that I initially thought I'd attach.
Some of the key features would be a booking / reservations calendar so we know when people are heading out there. Access is limited to sea and air (we have an air strip) so the benefit in cross hiring is apparent. The same also for other services. For example, if a group can get together to hire a barge to take out supplies it spreads the cost out for all.
Of course there is the fun stuff like posting amazing fish pics and vids. But primarily we need a clear information exchange for one and all.
I've seen some wonderfully creative examples on the site so hoping there is someone out there that can help. While I run a streaming and web conferencing company, I am "the marketing guy". So I can hold my own when it comes to basic coding etc, but not so flash (no pun intended) when it comes to the more sophisticated layout, design and app/widget implementation side.
Wait...do I hear the thundering key strokes of developers racing to my assistance?
What is the collective noun for a group of developers anyway?
