Changing my networkicon image

I go to Manage | Appearance and click on Network Icon (see attachment).
However when I try to change the image associated with my Network icon it doesn't work.
Does the image have to be of a particular shape and size?

You should try uploading in PNG format, this works on networks--

I gave this a go as soon as I got the suggestion.
Didn't work. STILL cannot change my network image.
