Ning Developer Docs

Seems to me, after reading through many of the requests for development that we have already done many of these things or can provide a solution either through our Joomla Expander system or Open Social development.

Hi,

We want to offer our community members a fantasy sports game. Instead of developing a separate application and then managing single sign on (is that possible?), we thought perhaps we can build the application through the Ning/OpenSocial API?

The deeper integration we can achieve the better.
For example, if user's could:
-join a fantasy league amongst their friends
-have their fantasy scores and fantasy teams displayed on their profile page and in the
latest activity stream
-have updates about their fantasy players displayed in the activity stream/as email
notifications
-etc

The application would need to rely on multiple xml feeds:
-teams
-players
-stats
-scores
-schedule
-etc

I think this could be a very interesting example of the potential of ning/opensocial applications - please contact me if you are interested!
Yes, as long as you dont mind all that running on a single page... it would be possible to display some of the user data on their own profile page, but you're limited to those 2 areas. You can use the activity stream yes.

Have you had the game itself built? Or are you wanting to build that too?

I'm looking for some help in adjusting the columns of my site so they all line up in a clean horizontal format. As a Ning default on the home page the left column aligns with the right column, but on profile pages and other pages the columns are all askew... to me this is messy and unprofessional. I would like to have the profile page columns line up as such; Members name far right, the memebrs pic and info column line up horizontally with the middle column and far right column as seen in the sample pic - I also want users profile access page to line up the same and other pages in the site where there is text (as with member name) to have the same format. Do you have code for this?

I'd appreciate any help or feedback - thanks!
