Ning Developer Docs

I've made some changes to my site design and I want all members that are still using the default network theme to see those updates. The changes appear just fine on new user profiles, but they only appear on an old user's profile if he or she goes in and re-clicks on the Apply Network's Theme button. Is there any way to force the updates?

Oh and what is your network? I like to join other peoples networks :)

mine is zombiefreaks.info
Try this. Go to Manage, then Feature Control. Scroll down and uncheck the box next to "Allow members to change their My Page theme" - then save. The re-check the box and save. Go go a member page that had the old layout and see if it changed.
worked for me! thanks

But what about the order of the features on the members pages. For some reason, all my members profile info is at the bottom of the page so the comments keep pushing everything down. Any fixes for that?
Have the members go to "settings", "my page", then under appearance click on the "reset" and that will put their pages back to the way they were before. But the members need to do that themselves.

Ning did a change that screwed up our member pages! That sucks especially when you have a large network and you get a crap load of emails from members asking what happen to their pages. Ning ASSUMED that all members wanted their pages like that. It made it worse. Leave the member page formats alone.
