network app, canvas tab present even if there is no canvas view

I do not intend to have a canvas view on my network app, just main and profile. Should be not app tab at top of page.

Unable to locate an appropriate view in this gadget. Requested: 'canvas' Available: [ning.main, profile]

Hi Nathan,

A canvas view is the one view that is required. All other views, including ning.main and profile, are optional.

You can just get your users to add some javascript that removes the Tab from the menu, or through the Tab Manager or something? Maybe try that?
