Rating and Reviews

Hi,

Need help in creating a rating and review system on my site something similar to http://www.myvillage.com/london/restaurants/ . I have also seen dozens of similar works ( http://restaurants.ning.com/ ) on ning platform but cant seems to figure out how to do it. I am not very familiar with programming or consider me illiterate in that. can someone please tell me if there is way for me to create a system that will allow members to upload the information by themselves or do i need some professional help, if so how much will it cost me.

Do you think restaurants.ning.com built custom code for that? I'd love a ratings system like the one they have.

what i think ning had a system like that where you could creat your own rating and review system. They are bunch of other sites that were made using nin platform. Unfotunately, ning has discontinued that feature. here is another good example http://trails.ning.com/
