Adding recurring events to the calender under the events section

Is there any way that some one can add recurring events to the calander. I have sevral events going on weekly that are every week in multiple locations and i hate to have the users go in and always update the events for the following week.

This has to be the longest running saga with Ning.

People have been asking for this for as long as i can remember, but Ning always seems to ignore it or put it to the very back of the development queue.
