Ok. I need some serious help. My social network is Cabo Vida.
I pay for the premium service.
In a text box on the right-hand column, I have a spot for rotating banner ads. I've been using a website called HTML Basix for their Javascript Banner Rotator Generator. This was great the first or second go-around. The problem is, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't! I'm not sure why. I don't think that any of the information that I've used changed at all (other than the fact that I've added ads).

I've looked for other scripts and I have the same problem every time! It just isn't loading the information correctly.

I'm attaching the HTML file. Can anyone give me some advice? I wanted to use Ad Manager (from Widget Laboratory) but their account was cancelled before I could buy it (which I suppose is a good thing). I would LOVE to find another program that would do this for me. I'm not so good with generating these things on my own ;)

Thanks so much for taking the time to look into this Wizard. As to your question about where my images are being stored, they are on my ning profile page here.

Here is one of the images, but the image location looks weird to me...
https://api.ning.com/files/0N6V1bax3FNfFxuSuvsiOVZogngG2*H*ir0LDIulW8lzqg26l2LLl*pnoXN0*wf23Q1zzCeXqw85Xy2s4eZxzYTP*Fx6ss4n/Togoad.jpg__or here is the link which you might not be able to see.

I would think that the location would be something like this...
https://api.ning.com/files/photos/Togoad.jpg_A little more simplistic, but maybe that's just some weird location that ning stores files.

Regarding your comment about CSS or javascript based programs, I thought that I was using javascript (only because the generator is called "javascript banner generator". Trust me, I'm totally new to all of this. If you can recommend some programs, I'd be very interested in taking a look at them. Also, are you familiar with the ad manager that widgetlaboratory was offerring?
You should check out www.adspeed.com. For very little money you can use their robust ad serving platform to run all your ads in whatever rotation you want.
I actually signed up for the 10-day trial today and am having no luck getting rotating ads to work. I have my pictures stored on my ning site and it is getting an error message that will not allow it to access them.

As a broader question, I cannot get javascript to work in the text boxes. Every post I have read says that text boxes is where it will work. Do I need to pay for a special service or something? When I put the code in and press save or update, I just get a blank screen.
Mrs. Jones,

I checked out your homepage for your site and that's exactly what I am looking to do on my page...If you could give me some code I would be most appreciative. Your site looks great! Looking to do rotating ads on the sides. Any info would help.
Hi,
I was trying to find out how to do this myself and when searching the forums I came across your post.
I have been searching for a good banner rotator and came across one that worked very well in the text box's so I came back here to share this with you.
I found this free banner rotator here
Like I said, It worked great in my text box's.
Just make sure you upload your images into a blog then copy the image url then post your blog. Put the image location in the online editing tool then you should be good to go.

Catcha later.
Also, take a look at http://www.openx.org/
