hi there - i was playing around adding widgets and stuff to my mypage, added a bit something in an iframe to see what would happen and now when i try to access mypage i get redirected to the ning top page. I can access the rest of the network fine. How can I get in to delete the bad code?
tom
Question are you/do you:
1.) The Network Creator
2.) Do you have alot of content o that network that would be bad to lose for both your and that network
3.) What code did you add please provided it in a attachment if you can if not I understand but if you can answer those question that will realy help me troubleshot this error and see if I can get it fixed for you.
2. very bad to lose entire network. please don't do that if you can possibly help it. Not such a problem to delete just my account and make it again.
3. attached - iframe tag
The iframe is copied from external site, but the src of the iframe is a local path, so it shouldn't be pulling in anything from outside ning. Maybe just iframes are bad?
Quick update. The ning help center fixed this for me. The problem was the src path in the iframe linked to a 404 not found page in ning which messed things up. (iframes themeselves are should be fine, it was just the src that was bad)
TJ - thanks for the esc idea -nice thought, but esc simply stops the page loading, but I needed the edit button to delete the code, and the page jumped to the 404 before that displayed. No way round this one except getting the help center to come to the rescue.
