Problem with changing Home Pagelayout using http://MYNETWORK.ning.com/index.php/admin/index/manage?type=PageLayout

Hi, hope any of you guys can help.

I have been using the http://MYNETWORK.ning.com/index.php/admin/index/manage?type=PageLayout to have multiple BLOGS and FORUMS on our homepage. This has been working fine for the last 6 months.

Only when we tried to implement the following code we received the follwoing errors:

Warning: DOMDocument::loadXML() [function.DOMDocument-loadXML]: StartTag: invalid element name in Entity, line: 1 in /apps/socialnetworkmain/lib/XG_Layout.php on line 153
Warning: DOMDocument::loadXML() [function.DOMDocument-loadXML]: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document in Entity, line: 1 in /apps/socialnetworkmain/lib/XG_Layout.php on line 153
Warning: DOMDocument::loadXML() [function.DOMDocument-loadXML]: Extra content at the end of the document in Entity, line: 2 in /apps/socialnetworkmain/lib/XG_Layout.php on line 153

Does anybody know how this can be fixed?

The code i was implementing in the pagelayout page is attached to this discussion. Did I make a mistake there? (The code works fine in my testnetwork http://testhrbase.ning.com/)
