Banned members...

unique circumstance, but I have two members who wanted to be removed from the network, and then to re-register as new members. And it was ok with me, the network creator. So I banned them. But now they are unable to even have the site come up on their computers to sign up....any ideas on how to fix this problem. Keep the original member signup banned, let them re-sign up is the goal. What can they do to be able to see the network again and sign up??

Personally I would try UN Banning them and let them unjoin comletely. Then they can sign up again as a new person with a different email address.

Just have them delete their own account.


i actually do wish ning would let us have more control over members though :/


like where we can edit member pages if we need to and move the friends box if needed, and delete members if we need to and not ban...

I agree. There's no ways to delete members & sometimes I need to delete accounts & don't want to ban them in case they do decide to come back.
