Ning went haywire: sent out over 250 invitations unauthorized
My small Ning group suddenly ballooned. Apparently 250 invitations went out without my okay.
I'd just posted a discussion, then sent out a message to eight or so people, via "Share" when I began getting members belonging to other Ning groups joining.
This is a total glitch, and time consuming for all concerned. It was intended to be a closed group, but that's not the problem. Any idea how this could happen?
There is no way that I sent invitations to people on other Ning sites I'm involved with. I did a copy and paste to nine people only to ask them to critique a website. In fact, I pasted in the nine addresses in the "Share" area, but left the message part blank.
Within minutes, people began joining. HELP!
