Hello. We have an application we have build for the appathon. It is running here:
http://pomoco.ning.com/opensocial/ningapps/show?appUrl=http%3A%2F%2...

When I try to submit the same application for the contest, I get an error message about the XML not being valid.

Unfortunately there are no other messages so I am not sure how to proceed.

Hi Edwin,

Can you verify that your URL is being called has the proper XML headers? When I copy and paste your URL in a browser it looks like it's rendered as an HTML file, as opposed to a regular XML file.

Thanks,

I see. Thanks for the heads up. Will try to change the server to set the right header information.

One more question. I saw your article regarding posting content to the activity stream. When I post an http://www.feedly.com/foo from the ning UI to my activity stream, the address automatically becomes a link. When I post is programmatic-ly from my app the address remains text. Can I post HTML to the activity stream and if not is there anything else I can do to get a link embedded?

Thanks!
