Sending a Digital update to members via email

I am looking for suggestions about how to send members in my network a weekly/daily update of forum topics blogs etc... is there a way to automate this?

I totally get your point and don't want to "spam" my members but, I am also a member of some yahoo groups and they give you the option of receiving daily or weekly or no digital updates. I like getting weekly updates as sometimes I don't have time to check in to the group. The emails appear with title links and the first few lines of each description. I was wanting to do something similar and not sure if that is an option on ning.

Hi Julie,
I posted something similar after you. I missed this one when checking for something similar before posting. (I haven't received any answer either)
At this point I forget about getting RSS since it won't work at all when the network is set to "Private"
But I'm still waiting for an answer about "automatic e-mails" from one of the excellent "Black Magic" practitioners we fortunately have in Ning.
If some of the areas of the SN have this feature

there most be a way to get the same function, lets say, when "Main" page changes. Knowing the code, it will just be a matters of injecting it to the page through a "Text Box". Won't it be?

I'm looking for the same thing. Just like Yahoo Groups. Very helpful for people on the go and not able to login all the time to Ning.
