Cant comment on page

usersCanComment type="number" is set to 1 in the widget-configuration.xml. Cache cleared several time but the page has no comment option. On some older pages the comments are visible but also there, no possibility to add comments. Anyone has a clue?

Sadly, this feature was taken away by Ning without any warning to admins. I spent a long time trying to figure out what was broken. When I wrote to Ning, a promise was made to replace it with an option to disable it if not required. The time window has come and gone with no word. This has rendered my sight almost useless without this feature. My attempts to get further information have been futile. Many other people have asked about this and probably give up.
