HTML Table boarders not appearing

Hi there

I am building a table in an HTML page on my Ning site - the content of the table is showing but the actual table borders are not appearing.

This is the code i am using:

<table border="2">
<tr><td>A</td>
<td>B</td>
<td>C</td>
</tr>
<tr><td>X</td>
<td>Y</td>
<td>Z</td>
</tr>
</table>


and this is what it looks like:

A	B	C
X	Y	Z

Can someone advise please.
