Reanimating Your Logo
You may have noticed that network Logos are processed a bit before being displayed. They're often resized and recompressed for fasted download times on your social network. This resizing causes only the first frame of animated GIF images to be displayed. If you'd like to circumvent these measures you can use this handy tracking code hack! Just paste this JavaScript into your tracking code box and your logo image will no longer be compressed. This will allow all frames of animated GIF logo images to be displayed. I added a GIF animation as a logo on my site. I'm currently pulling my hair out on how to make it only show up on the main page and NOT on members profile pages. It screws up their ability to customize their page. If I use my animated logo as a header, the animation doesn't carry over. If you find a fix through your journey, let me know please. greatly appreciated.
