How do I change the main tab to read "myexamplenetwork home"

Hi,

I'm new to to ning developers. This might be a really easy question but I'm just starting out so please bear with me! Can anyone tell me how to change the text on the main tab to read

" home"

any help greatly appreciated!

Hey Nisha,
This is actually very easy to do.

1. Go to Manage Option.
2. Go to Language Editor.
3. Check which your presently active language. Probably it will be English as default.
4. Go to the edit option that is in front of the English language.
5. Type "tabs" in the search box and search.
6. There you will get original names of the tabs like Invite, Main, Photos...etc.
7. There you can change it to what you want and then save the changes.

Similarly, which ever feature you want to rename, accordingly search for it at the same place and rename it.
Also to be on the safe side, you can create your own language say, Nisha....and "change it to be active langauge". By default all the English words will be copied to it. Then you can make changes to this new language like "vids" for video & "pics" for photos and keep your English langauge clean and use which ever you want. Say, English for the professional approach and the second language to spice things up and make your network sound witty.
