Hello colOchimba!

The best way to accomplish this would be to build a new feature / widget. I recommend that you run through the Hello World tutorial which covers the basics of creating a new feature. Once you have the new tab created, you're welcome to use the same RSS reader library that we used. It can be found in /widgets/feed/lib/SimplePie. You can learn more about using SimplePie by visiting their website.

Cheers!

I had this same question. I made a new tab and then used a RSS widget from www.yourminis.com. After configuring the RSS widget in yourminis, I copied the code and pasted it into the the new Podcast page. Take a look at edtechleader.ning.com
I hope this helps.

@colOchimba - Did you figure this one out? I can't find the Hello world tutorial and it appears that I would also need the source code which I do not have. Anyway, I would like to know if you succeed in embedding an RSS feed into your new page. Thanks.

This should really be easier.

We can put up to 10 RSS readers on our main page, 1 on a group page, 1 on a profile page, and that's it, right? Why isn't this just an option on every page, blog post, and forum...?

I'm sure there are 3rd party widgets that will do it, but typically at the cost of another layer of UI between the info and the user, in an inelegant presentation. The built-in Ning ones are so nicely integrated. I want them everywhere! :-)
