Revenue Share with Ning Widgets

How about this? Ning could develop new features as "widgets" and offer them to the Network creators. NCs should be able to re-sell those features to their users on a monthly basis (per feature)

I was just thinking that detailed user search is really missing. Ning could now put this into the core system and offer this for free to everybody with one of the next updates...

Or - they could develop this and give NCs the option to give this to the user
with a monthly fee (which then would be split with Ning).

New Features (Widgets) on a pay-per-feature-per-month base for the end-user. This way you could also sell additional content.

OR - developers could build those widges (as they do already) sell the license to the NC and he could re-sell it to the users.

Then the revshare would be between Dev Ning and NC.

I would like to use such a system in the future with adult content.

very cool, Paul. Interested indeed. An you also ask many many profile questions - like I do on my networks. I am actually amazed that people DO actually fill it out and have fun with it. So this is a great database material to do advanced search with. Can I learn this myself in PHP? Do you consult? Are there any tutorials you used?
