I searched but couldn't find an answer, so apologies if this has been asked before.

Is there a simple way to add a second blog module to the main page?

I'd like to be able to have an "official" blog that administrators write, and also allow all the members to blog but have theirs show up in a different module on the main page.

Thanks!

You can use an RSS Feed box to show all of the members Blogs and the "Official" Blog text box to show only your Admin featured Blogs.
My apologies if this is should be understood. Will you provide more explanation on the steps required for this? What do I place in the RSS feed box? Is this the URL to the blog or an outside blog?
You would need to use the Manage=>Features command and place a new RSS feed box on the main box. Next you should use a Feed Aggregating Service to add all of the Blog RSS feeds together so they show up in only one RSS feed text box in Ning.
Thanks! That worked great. I was doing it the other way round, Rss for the official blog, but of course your suggestion works much better. (sorry for the delay replying, I wanted to test it first, and it took a while to find the right moment)

Now I have 2 more questions.

1) How can I fix the blog display on the main page? I'd like to be able to adjust how it displays with more detail than the drop down options give me. Can I fiddle with the CSS, and if so how much control do I have?

2) The manage/features admin only seems to give me one rss box, but is it possible to add more?

Thanks!

Tom
