replace default events image

Does anyone know how to replace the default event image with my own image?

In the past we were forced to upload an image for an Event but with the recent updates to NING that is no longer necessary but you’re now presented with a “Default” image. I need to replace it because it does not fit my color scheme and the theme of my site.
