I looking for some codes that will work on ning for Horizontal menu bars that can be pasted into a text box...

Hello Tom,

Can you show me an example of this working somewhere?

If you talking about CSS/JavaScript driven menus, it is very difficult to work this, as most CSS menus also use a JavaScript file and need to place a small snippet of code in the header.

I have made menus that are horizontal and vertical, with Photoshop, Fireworks or even Flash pro. There are a ton of ways to accomplish this.

I have seen planty of Java/css generators but non of the codes work properly on ning. I will look around I know I have seen one on Ning somewhere, i have been looking but not been able to find it again..

What Im looking for is a drop down vertical menu bar. We have a Nascar Fantasy Network and I trying to make some easy links for sites that provide the best information. Some of the sites have 2-5 different pages so I would like it to be a drop down. I have used the generators before for another site and there were very simple.. I just need a code that works

Well, I didn't actually steal his menu. I modified it, there's a differents. And for the SocialGo image, I wasn't stealing it. I was using the table from my SocialGo site to use on my site. So don't go around saying I was stealing stuff until you know exactly what I was doing. That site was a demo site, not a real one. One more thing. Anybody can make a chrome like menu image just like that, so whats your point? Yes, they have the same type of image, but their different. His is much bigger than mine. I would understand if I had the exact same thing as his, but I don't. Thanks

You did nothing different. And if the size is different, it was accomplished with CSS and not a new image designed by you!

You lifted the code from BJ Penn site and did not have the decency to change the image paths.

No worries. I copied your source code and took screen shots of his code and image paths on your network. I have sent them to BJ, lets see what he thinks.

I have also notified Social Go that you are using their images on a Ning network.

And last but not least!

I do know exactly what you are doing. I think it is you that is in the dark.

Unless you plan on offering your OWN work to others who need help, I suggest you get the hell off of Ning. We have enough thieves to deal with on an everyday basis. Why add to the mix.

Go promote your thievery on Socail GO. Why are you even here?

Wow, ok tell him, I really don't care. I can always make a new image, you don't get that do you. Anybody can make the same exact image as that. Now, as I saying about the SocialGo, you still don't get it. I MADE a site on SocialGo and I used their table for future modifications. I didn't steal it. Why I'm here you ask? I've been on Ning for a long time. When they 1st launched it. I was still learning and now i'm better to help other people. Listen, everybody start from somewhere. Hell, I bet you copy other people's work to improve your own. Don't lie, you know damn well you did. Everybody in their life copied another persons work to: learn, improve, and to understand stuff more better. You say you write your own code, I believe. But you had to learn how to write it right?? AHH Don't worry about that nut jp, I have seen him on here all the time accusing someone of stealing something, I don't know what the deal is but as far as I can tell, he wants to be the only one to supply code for ning, and if anyone else post something about a mod, he accuses them of stealing!!! god get a life jp if you was so good wouldn't you have come up with your own social network! he is a moocher that lives off ning, he just admitted to lifting your source code just because he has a suspicion, is that his responsibility, IS HE THE NING POLICE, I think you should be kicked off Ning

HAHAHAHAHA. Thanks you, finally somebody realize what I was saying. I see he didn't come back and comment my post. He know I was saying the truth. Yes, he's always doing that and I don't get it. Thats why Ning is ripping them off thier shit. Hope he knows that Ning is not a parthner with them, they just making money off JP and his team. You see they took over their SiteSuites, whatever it's called, and they owned it. But you gotta live in this world right? Make money as you get it and thats what they doing. You're not the only one in the world you can make Ning layouts and codes. I bet he say I stole MY designs I made from somebody.

Well, it just that I haven't been on ning that long, and ever time I click on a new post, this guy is always on here accusing someone of stealing, it just trashes up the forum, makes new people think, what have I got myself into. There are other ways of going about things, there should be some sort of channels you could go through with Ning and let them handle it, rather than all these accusations posted on this forum........it's just looks trashy to me and makes ning look bad.

If I was new to ning and thinking about starting a ning account and had looked on these forums first and seen all that trash, I would have probably moved on to something else! I would bet that ning has lost customers due to this sort of trash!
