Sales on ning network, inserting paypal into picture description.
I've read the terms and services, cannot find anything that denies direct sales from ning network.
So we would like to investigate using the network for direct sales. A biz store to be exact.
would like to set up a store site on ning, with social component for our customers and friends and future clients.
would like to add paypal button to description of every picture.
The ning site, out of the box, is great.
If you combine the search, with tags, picture description, slideshow, and thumbnails system you only need ONE more piece to have a perfect shopping site.
the ability to place a paypal button in the picture description.
As of now, the "scrubber" clears the script out when placed in picture description.
Is there ANY way to get it to accept?
Making this minor change would enable ning to have a great online shopping experience and perhaps open a whole new method for retailers to use this network.
Does anyone know of a solution?
The only change required to make this possible is change the behaviour, upon saving, of the photo description box -- now it scrubs -- change that to NOT scrubbing, or to allow simple script and it's done.
I think it would be brilliant.
At this moment we are trying a "classified" plugin from livewired.... but think the base system would be a better fit with this minor change.

yes, paypal button can be added as an href, pre-made.
shopping cart buttons can be added , as href, pre-made.
no allowance for scripts or forms in picture descriptions. so we can't make fancy forms or button options.
livewire classifieds allows for both.

looks like you already found the ansswer Tatyana.
As I said, regular paypal button works, forms do not (and scripts NOT also)
too bad.
You can use a CART button in photo, but it has to be a Pre-made button, no form options, just a big pre-made a href button. Kinda sad, that one little change would be nice.

Hi I cannot get the donate pay button to work in a TEXT box. It works if I create a page and add it there. I want it on the homepage. When you click into the donate button on the homepage... there is an error. Could you please help me lol.
