boon if your still there. My site do's not say report an issue at the bottom. It has badges, help, privacy, terms of service. I'm not sure were to change this. I'm in language manager but cannot figure it out.
I didn't see a wish list... but then again.. I could be impaired by onset of blindness
ISSUE:
A great feature would be the addition of a priv. level called moderator that would lack some of the sensitive data like user list from their admin panel that is seen in creator/admin.
so, if there is a wish list .. please add theretowith or a tier of assignable levels like:
1. Movie Moderator
2. Music Mod.
3. Forum Mods
4. Picture Mods.
( etc...)
Finally, pricing... I know a lot of work goes into the dev end of any opensrc ( or close to opensrc - like free to use ) program... yet, I need to ask are you loosing income by maintaining your pricing scheme? Look at volume if the prices were lower, of those who would want to pay for added bandwidth or removal of the NING link or Google Ads.
If I had an opensrc copy of Ning - I could host at hostmonster ( we have several sites (domains) hosted there
and run ning with no additional bandwidth charges nor webspace charges. I had Dolphin setup for a bit and all the features worked without flaw, including ffmpeg.exe without flaw after tweaking the php.ini file..
yet, ( the punch line ) they only charge 5.99 to 6.99 per month on a two year contract. Support is a phone
call or chat away, 24/7 .. not a note in the dev. area. (grin)
Finally, running Dolphin or aroundme_c_20080327 I can tweak or rewrite areas of the code I want to customize..
If I went along with your present price schema, I'd be paying, 4.99 for domain redirect, 24.99 to remove the ads, 24.99 to remove ning, and 9.99 for a bit more space and bandwidth (About 65.00 a month) more than
the price of some leased dedicated servers.
That's why I ask, is Ning loosing volume on the income side?
Just an old GEEK over 60 and having fun..
Here before Al Gore invented the Web.. Building mail tossers between FIDONet, GTPowerNet, RBBSNet and the
then message based web.. and finally domained in 1996. (Stupid me) We saw them BORN, we saw many die..
victims of greed.
Hot Damn... ( forgive me if I am repetitive - I've been called worse! - infact I think my 60 year old mainframe mind is buggy ) Will go peek/see right away.
Use roles to give certain members administrative control over specific areas of the network.

Add a Role
I need to see if we can limit their permissions ( what they can see in the admin panel they would
have after login ) As the user lists grows ( over 600 in two weeks at the moment ) we want to guard items like that from certain roles ability to access. )
