Automatic Welcome Message

How do I send an automatic welcome message to each new member of the network and also automatically make them my friend even if they're invited by someone else??

You can personalize the Welcome message that automatically goes out to your members by using the language editor. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but it's one option. Not sure about the auto-friend thingy though.

Hey kaddeesh, the easiest way to find it would be to sign up to your own site using another email address, then copy part of the message you get in the mail and run a search for it in the language editor.

If you are approval new member then search the item: congratulations - you will see a text box with: Congratulations! Your %s membership has been approved. - Here you can add your welcome message.

OR: you don't approval new members: Then search: thank you for joining

you will find a text box with Welcome to %s! Thank you for joining.

In both cases %s is only a place holder of the name of your network. So you can overwrite it. SO - these both pages are the pages where the welcome message is on. Good luck!
