How do I get Apps on my Ning site?

I am confused. I see all these apps and I am able to add them to my page in the developer net, but how do I put them on my actual Ning site? Are they just in development and not released or am I missing something? Any explanation would be very helpful. Thx!

Hi Brandon,

To add applications on your actual Ning site, you'll be able to add applications to your own social network by clicking on the "Add Applications" link directly under your photo in your profile page. This applies on the majority of social networks on Ning that are running on centralized code.

Any suggestions that would make the flows to this clearer would be appreciated!

I assumed they would be in the "Manage" page by the features. Thanks for the help. I never would have found that.

Is there anyway to get the app on the homepage of network? I was hoping to add apps that would benefit everyone.

Not quite yet; but we're kicking off beta test of this with a select group of developers in the next couple of weeks.

Gotta say, this seems king of hozed. I just spent more than an hour trying to find that link to add applications. Profiles.. creators, multiple profiles.... kind of seems haphazard...

If you don't see it, there's a high chance that you're running a decentralized network. If that's the case, you'll need to contact the Help Center at http://help.ning.com to get your network recentralized again.
